Novel compounds of the formula: wherein one of R<5> and R<6> is hydrogen and the other is -NR<7>R<8>; R<7> is hydrogen or straight chain alkyl containing 1-4 carbon atoms and R<8> is wherein n=1 to 3, are intermediates in the synthesis of chemiluminescent- labeled conjugates useful in specific binding assays.
