PURPOSE:To make it possible to turn a flap in during transfer by causing a folding guide to advance with a high speed from the rear side of an article and a box which are transferred from an upstream fixed guide to a support guide and by folding a rear flap. CONSTITUTION:A box 76 approaches a third fixed guide 6, transferring on a rear flap folding guide 10 and a second container-support guide 12 moves back from the front to position the up-stream end at the down-stream end of the rear flap folding guide 10. Hereafter, both the rear flap folding guide 10 and the second container support guide 12 move back to the up-stream side and the box 76, which continues to advance, results in mounting on the second container-support guide 12 as time passes. While the box 76 and the second container-support guide 12 advance as time passes, the rearflap folding guide 10 stops at the position most retreated to the up-stream side and the rear flap 76b hangs down, slipping out of the folding guide 10. After that, the rearflap folding guide 10 advances faster than the box 76 and catches up with the rear flap 76b of the box 76 to fold forewards it. |
