PURPOSE:To perform changing over of automatic feeding and manual feeding with a simple constitution by making common use of the switching means which detects the empty of copying paper in the containing part at the automatic feeding and the means which detects the copying paper inserted at the manual feeding. CONSTITUTION:By discriminating a copying feasible state, a switch SW1 closes and when a cassette is loaded in the case of automatic feeding, an empty detecting switch SW2 goes on to the contact (b) and a discriminating switch SW3 to the contact (b). Every time when a print switch PSW is closed, current is supplied to the copying operation control system A and copying is accomplished. When the copying paper in the cassette becomes less, the switch SW2 changes over to the contact (a) and an empty display LED1 is made, making the subsequent copying infeasible. In the case of manual feeding, the switch SW3 is set to the contact (a) by loading of the cassette and the manual feed display LED2 is done and the switch SW2 changes over to the contact (a), by which the display LED1, is done. Eveny time when the leading end of the inserted copying paper comes, the switch SW2 is changed over to the contact (b) to supply current to the control system A, whereby copying is accomplished. |
