A helicopter seat which comprises a fibreglass reinforced polyester resin shell 3 having side walls, a sitting area depression 7 and a back-supporting area depression 8 joined by a laterally rounded intermediate area 11, padded seat and back cushions 4, 5 removably placed in the respective depressions.
