PURPOSE:To shorten the time of retrieval by automatically inputting retrieval data with accuracy without key operation, by generating a retrieving list on which editing retrieval data, such as retrieval data, retrieval sequence data and data on the number of sheets, are recorded. CONSTITUTION:Corresponding to document data on retrieving list 2 on form 3, retrieval data 4, data 5 on the number of sheets on which document data should be recorded and outputted, and retrieval sequence data 6 indicating the read sequence of the document data are recorded and this list 2 is conveyed to read part 9 by way of conveyance path 8 to read the contents of list 2 optically. Under the control of main control part 20, editing retrieval data read by this read part 9 are recognized by recognition unit 13. The recognition result of this unit 13 is temporarily stored in temporary memory part 14 and on the basis of retrieval data stored in this memory part 14, retrieval read control part 15 reads the document data in the assigned order from memory unit 1 and records and outputs the read document data on forms 11 as many as assigned. |
