In a first apparatus. Fig. 2, a level controlled flap valve 5, 6, 7, directs discharge from the pump 4 either to the nozzle or to the outlet 3 (or alternatively apportions the flow). In a second embodiment, Fig. 3, the nozzle 8 and jet pipe 9 are mounted for adjustment in direction so that the aerated sewage water can be directed into the outlet pipe 3 or at least partly directed back into the pump well by a baffle 14. |
