PURPOSE:To prevent the detection of a pattern from becoming impossible and error detection by eliminating irregular spots appearing on the screen of a monitor by erasing black spots on a pat through the processing of a logical operating circuit for circumferential picture elements. CONSTITUTION:A picture of pellet 11 fitted on lead frame 10 of a semiconductor device is taken by TV camera 12, the output of which is applied via amplifier 13 to binary-coding circuit 14 to digitize the white part of the video signal into logic ''2'' and the black part into logic ''0''. This binary-coded digital signal is applied to pattern shaping circuit 17 and multistage continuous shift register, provided to this circuit 17, corresponding to picture elements receive and transmit signals. Further, picture elements inside or surrounding a ring picture element are held at the same logic ''1'' or ''0'' as the ring picture element by the output of an AND circuit regarding as AND a signal corresponding to the ring picture element and black-spot part 2 on pat 1 displayed on monitor 16 is erased to prevent the detection of detecting circuit 15 for a pattern from becoming impossible and error detection. |
