Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for producing a blur invariant image feature descriptor using integral projection in multiple directions. The method for producing a blur invariant image feature descriptor includes a step of normalizing a local patch with a preset magnitude around an extracted specific feature point; a step of generating integral protection vectors by performing integral projection on the pixel values of an image in the normalized local patch in multiple directions; and a step of generating a feature descriptor by making the integral protection vectors merged into a vector.
