PURPOSE:To perform arithmetic in the interactive form with accuracy by clearly showing an operator the state of an input to a variable by simultaneously displaying the name of the variable that a computer inquires and a numeral or mathematical expression that the operator inputs. CONSTITUTION:To CPU2, key input unit 1 is onnected which has a key instructing the start of execution when an expression is executed in the interactive form, a function key inputting a punctuation between variables when there are a plural number of variables, etc. To CPU2, algebraic expression memory register R1, register R2 for storing a variable name, input numeral or input mathematical expression, variable value memory register M, step-number memory register S, and inquiry memory FFC are further connected, in additioh to display unit 3. Then, the name of the variable that CPU2 inquires and a numeral or mathematical expression that an operator inputs from input unit 1 are simultaneously displayed on display unit 3 to let the operator know the state of the input to the variable, so that arithmetic in the interactive form will come in effect with accuracy. |
