PURPOSE:To eliminate unevenness of image and soiling, by forming a coating layer of dielectric resin at least in the part contacting with the developer of the charge coat member forming the developer coat layer on the circumference of developing roll. CONSTITUTION:When developing by using a dry type one component developer, a toner layer 1a is uniformly held on the circumference of a developing roll 3, and is triboelectrically charged in the reverse polarity of the electrostatic latent image on an electrostatic latent image carrier 4 to obtain a visible image. Of a charge coat member 2 for uniformly forming the toner layer 1a and charging in the reverse polarity of the electrostatic latent image, at least the part contacting with the toner is constituted, for instance, by forming a coating layer 9 of dielectric resin on a core substance 8 which is relatively easy to process, so that a clear image free from unevenness of development and soiling may be obtained. |
