This coding device contains means for combining at least a fraction of the luminance signal of each line with a fraction of the luminance signal of at least one of the earlier lines which have distances of integral cycles of the line sequence of the chrominance components from the first-mentioned line. The combination means, in turn, contain a recursive filter which receives the said fraction of the luminance signal of each line and which has a delay corresponding to one full cycle of the chrominance line sequence and has a feedback loop by means of which the last-mentioned fraction is combined with the fractions of the luminance signal of the said earlier lines. |
