PURPOSE:To facilitate the adjustment of the switching timing of the conduction of a coil by providing a counter wherein the conduction angle of the driving currents to be supplied to the stator coils are set so that said angle becomes optimum at the point of generated torque. CONSTITUTION:A flip-flop 4 is set by the rise-up of the position sensing signal from a Hall element 2. Said signal and the pulse signal from a frequency generator 3 are given to an AND gate 6, and counting is performed by a preset counter 7. Then, a counter 11, whose conduction angle is determined by the output of the counter 7, is operated, and the timing of starting the counting of the counter 7 is determined by the output of the counter 11, thereby driving currents are sequentially supplied to stator coils 1a-1c. Since the conduction angle is determined to become optimum by the counter 7, timing adjustment can be readily performed without adjusting the position-sensing element. |
