<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a gas generating a apparatus with high gas collecting ratio by inlaying an upwardly and downwardly movable gas sump to an upper half portion of a gas generating apparatus with a tapered lower half portion. CONSTITUTION:A gas generating apparatus 1 comprising a small diameter portion 1a and a large diameter portion 1b is provided within the earth G in an embeded manner and, after a doughnut shaped gas sump 2 having an outer diameter slightly smaller than an inner diameter of a large diameter portion is inlayed, hermetically closed by mounting a top cover 11. The sewage is flowed into from an introducing opening of a lower portion and a heating medium is passed into a heat exchanger 8 through a circulating pipe 22a, 22b as well as the garbage is thrown into from a throw-in opening 16. By the convection of a heated sewage, a gas generated from a material X to be treated is raised along with fine garbage particles and a gas sump is upwardly pushed by the said raised gas. In this case, a bellow 15 connecting an opening portion 4 of a gas sump and a throw-in opening of a top cover is shrinked and the air within a top cover is discharged through an air vent 17. The raised sewage is discharged through an exhaust water perifying apparatus 21 and a gas is withdrawn from a take-out pipe 18.</p> |
