PURPOSE:To make possible highly precise measurement of torque even if the speed difference between the absorbers is small by controlling the speed of the driving body, the torque of each absorber, and the speed difference between the absorbers. CONSTITUTION:The characteristic of the torque difference DELTAT to the revolution- speed difference DELTAN between each output shaft of a differential gear 1 can be usually measured when the revolution-speed difference DELTAN between absorbers 4A and 4B is large to some degree by controlling the speed of the absorbers 4A and 4B. However, the measurement of DELTAT1 is difficult when the revolution-speed difference DELTAN1 is smaller than a fixed value, exceeding the speed-control precision. The torque characteristic of DELTAT1 can be measured by constant-speed control of an electric motor 2, current or torque control of dynamometers 4A and 4B, installation of speed difference-setting device 10 for obtaining optional revolution-difference, and proportional control of the revolution difference. Thus, the torque characteristic can be measured highly precisely even if the speed difference between the absorbers is small. |
