<p>The releasable coupling consists of two coaxial parts (10, 12). One part is fixed to the piston rod of the drive cylinder (22) and the second part is fixed to the rod (26) carrying the moving contact. The distance (A) between the abutting ends of the two parts is adjustable. The two parts are tapered to form conical surfaces whose wide bases form the abutting ends of the parts and whose narrow ends join the rods. The two parts are held together by twoi half-shells (18, 20), with conical inside surfaces, and secured by four retaining bolts (45) which clamp the parts between them. Axial movement is prevented by the conical surfaces. A setting screw (30) inside one part is used to set the spacing between the abutting ends.</p> |
