<p>A device for heating water by means of solar energy comprises a compact assemblage contg. the absorber, a reserve of water just behind the absorber and the accessories such as control equipment and means of putting into motion the heat transfer fluid or the water directly, just behind the absorber and in the free space afforded by the form of the reserve, grouped in an insulating box. The invention eliminates inconveniences of existing devices of its kind in which the absorbers are grouped on the roof, the stocks or water are in the building and the controls are near the latter. The efficiency of such devices is reduced by the length of the connecting pipes or the large vol. gives an inertia to the heat transfer fluid hindering the recovery of energy over short periods because of the response time. It could be on the roof or the front of the building or at the bottom of a garden.</p> |
