PURPOSE:To increase the Young's modulus by decreasing the mass and increasing the internal loss, by heating and pressing the pulp mixing high density synthetic fiber and foamed resin as binder. CONSTITUTION:The polyethylene 60% as the high density resin is fed to the pulp 30% obtained through repulping, and foaming resin 10% is added and mixed. After this is made to sheet, it is formed to a given diaphragm plate with heating and pressing. Thus, polyethylene resin is present among fibers of pulp to strongly link the fibers and a number of air bubbles produced with foaming of the foaming resin are present among the pulp and polyethylene resin. The density and mass are both decreased due to air bubbles and the internal loss is increased with air bubbles to enable to increase the Young's modulus.
