This invention consists of a device for oil cleaning at sea. The device is carried by a vessel which by means of its forward movement and concurrent pumping-in, collects oil- contaminated surface water. The collected oil-contaminated water is added to a flotation tank, where oil and water are separated. The flotation occurs by means of gas bubbles. The vessel can be attached to oil booms which are pulled by the second vessel where the oil-contaminated water which is continuously collected and contained by the oil booms is added to the vessel where the oil is separated and collected. <IMAGE> |
