A multiple-thread screw-type planetary drive comprising a stator (3) with a thread on its internal surface and a rotor (4) with a thread on its external surface, the rotor (4) being excentrically placed inside the stator (3). The rotor (4) and the stator (3) constitute a kinematic pair of permanent contact with internal gearing, the number of teeth of the stator (3) being by one tooth more than the number of teeth of the rotor (4). The ratio between the thread pitches of the stator (3) and the rotor (4) is directly proportionate to the corresponding ratio between the teeth numbers. The ratio of pitches of the threaded surfaces of the stator (3) and the rotor (4) to their corresponding pitch mean diameters lies essentially within a range from 5.5 to 12.
