PURPOSE:To improve color developement by specifying the relationship between the shape of a glow lamp and the quantities of the materials sealed in this glow lamp. CONSTITUTION:The luminous film 3 exhibiting the maximum emission for a wavelength in a range of 610-630nm is coated on the inner wall of the outer glass tube 1 with the metallic cap 2 on one side. The glow lamp 4 is supported and fixed in the outer tube 1 with the supporting frame wire 5. Supposing that the bore of the glow tube 4 is Dcm in diameter, the length between the electrodes 6 and 7 is lacm, the length from the tip of the electrode 6 or 7 to the sealing area is lecm, and the quantities of mercury, cadmium, and zinc sealed in the glow tube 4 are respectively mHgmg/cc, mCdmg/cc, and mZnmg/cc, there are following relationship 1.4<=D<=2.1, 7<=300/piDla<=14, 2.0<=mHg<=13.0, 0.002<=mCd+ mZn<=10, (0<=mCd, 0<=mZn), and 0.6<=le<=1.15. |
