Construction of multifaceted windows - esp. for stained glass, using silicone rubber strips to support panes

Construction of multi-facet windows involves use of silicone rubber strips to support the individual panes of (stained) glass. The strips may be mounted in a supporting template by use of double-sided adhesive tapes. Opt. the complex panes are protected by a layer of plain glass or plastic sheet. It is lighter and tougher than conventional stained glass assemblies.
