1. Pot burner for combustion of coal dust in a pot-shaped combustion chamber lined with a ceramic mass, and with central, rectilinear injection of dust and concentric supply of air, wherein the air is preheated during flow through the combustion chamber casing, and enters the combustion chamber while whirling, characterised in that, for production of a burner output of 0.5-10 MW, there is supplied anthracite with a grain size of 0.05 mm maximum or coking coal of 0.15 mm maximum with a water content of 2% at most, that the non-bituminous coal has a pre-heating of 100-200 degrees C at entry, that the combustion occurs below the slag softening point and that air is blown spirally around the stream of coal dust and air. |
