<p>Core barrel for taking soil samples by a ram drilling technique consists of a shank with a flanged spigot which receives the ram impacts. Pin couples this shank to a barrel which is equipped at the free end with a cutting edge. It is lined with a core reception sleeve, pref. made of rigid transparent PVC. Pin, secured by a spring clip, provides a quickly removed connection. Hardened impact faces ensure long life. Core is protected during handling and transport.</p> |
