The control circuit of a car blinking lamp ensures a delay of output signal from the threshold sensing switch as a function of lamp current. The control lamp is turned on at the start of the switching off period and turned off when the blinker lamp is switched off. The circuit comprises a storage unit (16) between the threshold sensing switch (15) and the evaluating circuit (17). The storage unit (16) holds the output signal of the threshold switch (15) during the on-period of the blinker lamp (10) and transmits it at the beginning of the switching off cycle when it feeds the evaluating circuit. The RC loop of the storage unit is connected to the threshold switch through an inverting gate.
