PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery superior in endurance and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided according to the present invention. The manufacturing method comprises: the step of constructing a battery assembly with a positive electrode including N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone and a nonaqueous electrolyte including an oxalate complex compound. In the manufacturing method, the step of constructing a battery assembly is performed to satisfy the following expression: 0.000036≤B/A≤0.001048, where A(ppm) represents a content of N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone per unit mass of a positive electrode active material layer, and B(mol/kg) represents a content of the oxalate complex compound per unit mass of a negative electrode active material.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
