Vertical heating pipe laying in road holes - involves removing and fluidising earth from one group and pumping into another

A series of vertical holes are made along a traffic route. Pipes are inserted in the holes and the gaps are filled in. This system enables heating of the road surface by the internal heat of the earth. Three holes, or groups, of holes are treated simultaneously in a rhythmic process. The first is drilled, and removed material is mixed with water and/or binder to form a homogeneous filling/substance. This is pumped into the third containing a pipe which is filled with the substance. The appropriate number of pipes is lowered into the second hole, or group.
