PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tunable and/or adjustable photo-detector device for use in UV curing lamp applications.SOLUTION: A photo-detector device 1 includes a substrate 3 having a bottom surface 3b. The photo-detector device 1 may further include a photocell 2 secured to the bottom surface 3b of the substrate 3. The photo-detector device 1 may further include a metallic block 4 having a top portion 4a secured to the bottom surface 3b of the substrate 3 to enclose the photocell 2, in which an opening 5 is formed within the metallic block 4 and extends from the top portion 4a of the metallic block 4 to a bottom portion 4b of the metallic block 4, so as to form an aperture 9 for light to travel through the metallic block 4 to the photocell 2. The photo-detector device 1 may further include a member 8 insertable into the metallic block to vary an open area of the aperture 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
