PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light-emitting device with a superior light emission efficiency.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a light-emitting device having a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a light-emitting layer provided between the positive and negative electrodes and a sealing layer comprises the steps of: forming, by a coating method, the light-emitting layer by use of an iridium complex having an iridium atom making a center metal or the like; forming the positive or negative electrode; and forming the sealing layer. On condition that the light-emitting device in process of manufacturing is exposed to ozone between the start of the step of forming the light-emitting layer and the end of the step of forming the sealing layer, an ozone concentration average value A(ppb), and an exposure time B(minutes) satisfy the following expression (1-1): 0≤A×B≤1000 (1-1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
