Frame saw blade hinge spacer - has faces fitting against two blades and is offset from second holder plate

A series of saw blades with spacers are clamped in the frame with hinge shafts supported at one end on the frame, and other end bearing an attachment providing form-locking connection in the tension direction, with a lug swivelling on the shaft. Spacers (26) to be clamped between blades (23) are held at the end of one of the two plates (36) forming the hinges attachments (32) away from the shaft. One face (37) fits against the inserted blade and the other (38) against the next blade. They are offset lengthways from the second plate, leaving a 5mm gap between plate and spacer. This allows spacers to be immediately fitted with frame saw hinges.
