<p>The sewage water handling device has a collection vessel, a pump driven via a vertical shaft and a ventilation device for the pump housing, with the pump switched on and off in dependence on the water level. The drive motor for the pump is disconnected via a time switch with a timing interval greater than or equal to, the time required for emptying the collection vessel, to prevent running of the pump when it is no longer necessary. The time switch may also operate a signaling device and the pump motor may be reconnected after a further time interval via a second timer switch.</p> |
