<p>PURPOSE:To realize a timing phase control systen for high-speed duo-binary waveform discrimination which features the application of the steady phase control at all times regardless of the initial setting for the timing control system and the making of the power source, by using the simple limiter means. CONSTITUTION:The equalized due-binary waveform is used for the input, and then the transmission digital signal based on the duo-binary waveform receives the discrimination reproduction by discrimination/reproduction means 3 and based on the proper timing phase. Both this discriminated and reproduced output and the equalized duo-binary waveform are applied to timing phase control signal generation means 5 to obtain the phase control signal. Then phase variable means 4 is provided which can vary the phase of the timing signal supplied independently to be used for means 3, and limiter means 8 is provided to give limit to the variable range in the course of the route of the phase control signal to be negatively fed back to the control input end of means 4.</p> |
