PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device capable of suppressing the adhesion of a foreign object onto a nozzle with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device comprises: a conveyor section 31; a guide member 32; a recording head 34; a space formation member 35; a suction section 37; and a voltage application section 7. The guide member 32 guides a to-be-recorded medium P in a conveyance direction X. The conveyor section 31 conveys the to-be-recorded medium P in the conveyance direction X. The recording head 34 delivers ink droplets to the to-be-recorded medium P that is conveyed by the conveyor section 31. The space formation member 35 is disposed upstream, in the conveyance direction X, of the recording head 34 and a foreign object collection space 351 is formed between the space formation member 35 and the guide member 32. The suction section 37 sucks air from the foreign object collection space 351 via the guide member 32. The voltage application section 7 applies a voltage to the space formation section 35 during non-recording.
