PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a maximum Doppler frequency estimation method using a Doppler spectrum, taking into account a frequency offset or a line-of-sight propagation environment.SOLUTION: The maximum Doppler frequency estimation method includes: a step for receiving a reference signal; a step for creating time fluctuation data of a propagation path from the received reference signal; a step for performing FFT of the time fluctuation data of the propagation path; a step for calculating a Doppler spectrum from an output of the FFT; a step for detecting a first frequency of a component having the highest power among the components of the Doppler spectrum; a step for detecting a second frequency of a component having the second highest power among the components of the Doppler spectrum; a step for obtaining the maximum Doppler frequency by halving an absolute value of a difference between the first frequency and the second frequency; and a step for determining a moving speed of a mobile station from the maximum Doppler frequency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
