The present invention relates to a device and a method for detecting a current. According to the present invention, the device comprises: an upper PCB plate having three holes through which currents in R, S, and T phases pass and comprising a first coil unit formed on a substrate adjacent to each of the holes in order to detect each of the phase currents, passing through a relevant hole; and a lower PCB plate having one or three holes through which the currents in the R, S, and T phases pass and comprising a second coil unit formed on the substrate adjacent to at least one hole to surround the relevant hole to detect at least one ground fault state of the phase currents passing through the relevant hole. According to the present invention, sensors detecting a current and/or ground fault may be implemented in one device, by forming Rogowski coils, which have different sizes from each other, on two PCB substrates. |
