PURPOSE:To lessen the eating of a stylus into a disk by employing the shape that while a sliding contact surface with the disk forms an edge extending from its lead-in part to an electrode part side in a curved line and there is no corner part in the width direction of recording tracks. CONSTITUTION:Sliding contact surface P is so shaped that the edge part extending from lead-in part side F to electrode part side G will be formed in a continuous curved line of different curvatures. Here, although the shape of sliding contact surface P should by symmetric on virtual center line X, slight dispersion of the shape is allowable. Reproducing stylus body S with sliding contact surface P like this uses a high-hardness prismatic material with resistance to wear and around its circumferential surface, a conductive coating is formed by sputtering, etc., so as to constitute the electrode part. |
