The present invention relates to a safety foothold structure for a construction lift, capable of rotating a foothold body to a construction opposite to an exit door by a foothold development unit when the exit door is opened and rotating the foothold body to the exit door by the foothold pressing unit when the exit door is closed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the safety foothold structure for the construction lift can prevent a falling accident by blocking an opened space between the exit door installed in the exit of a cage and the construction. The safety foothold structure for the construction lift comprises: a foothold body installed under the exit of the cage, having a plurality of hinges arranged at one side to be capable of rotating when the exit door is opened or closed, and having folded pieces folded on the both ends; a foothold opening unit installed in the foothold body to rotate the foothold body toward the construction by the weight thereof when the exit door is opened; and a foothold pressing unit installed at both lower sides of the exit door to rotate the foothold body toward the exit door by pressing the folded pieces when the exit door is closed.
