<p>N,N-disubstituted alanine derivatives of the formula wherein X is H, F, Cl, Br, I; n= 1-5; Y is aryl; Z is alkyl; Rl is acyl, carboxyl, alkoxycarbonyl, aminocarbonyl, mono- or di-alkylaminocarbonyl, mono-or di-arylaminocarbonyl in which the aryl groups may be unsubstituted or substituted and R2 is alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, alkaryl, alkoxy, alkylthio or acyl. The novel alanine derivatives exhibit selective herbicidal properties.</p> |
