<p>The invention relates to a machine for unloading tiers of goods from a pallet onto a take-off surface. The machine includes a platform which is vertically movable for alignment sequentially with the uppermost tier of goods on a pallet and the take-off surface. To steady the pallet during transfer of goods onto the platform, a pair of plates are movable laterally to grip the next to uppermost tier, the latter plates being also movable vertically so as to allow the platform to descend to the level of the lowermost tier in the pallet.</p> |
