PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an algae culture apparatus and an algae culture method in which algae can be efficiently cultured.SOLUTION: An algae culture apparatus (1) comprises: one or a plurality of light sources (3); and a plurality of vessels (5,7) serially arrayed on an optical path of light emitted from the light sources, in which at least vessels other than a vessel farthest from the light source out of the plurality of vessels allows at least a part of the light to penetrate therethrough, and at least a part of the light reaches the inside of each of the plurality of vessels. It is preferable that the apparatus is equipped with transfer means (9) for transferring culture solution housed at least in a part of vessels of the plurality of vessels to the vessels closer to the light source than the vessels.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
