PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mobile gateways in a pool for session resilience.SOLUTION: PDN-GW102A, PDN-GW102B and PDN-GW102D acknowledge that PDN-GW102C has failed and activate a plurality of standby UE sessions. Each standby UE session, which is a backup UE session corresponding to a previously active UE session, is served on PDN-GW102C. Each standby UE session is associated with a UE device 106 and a network resource ID of an APN slice 101. PDN-GWGW102A, PDN-GW102B and PDN-GW102D transmit messages indicating that an SGW has to change the destination of a traffic that was previously bound for the PDN-GW102C to PDN-GW102A, PDN-GW102B and PDN-GW102D to the SGW which is serving the UE session.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A |
