PURPOSE:To enhance the ion generating efficiency by a method wherein a main body case is constituted of an upper and a lower case and an upwardly opposed electrodes and a metal protecting plate are elastically pinched between an electrically conductive plate and an upper case to improve the electric short circuit of an upwardly and a downwardly opposed electrodes and a metal protecting plate. CONSTITUTION:To a front surface of a main body case 1 divided into an upper and a lower case, an air sucking opening 3 having a grill 2 is formed and, to a trailing end portion of an upper surface thereof, an air blow-out opening 4 is formed. Within an air passage in a case 1, an ionizing portion A, a dust collecting and deodorizing portion B and an air blower portion C are successively arranged. In an ionizing portion A, an electrically conductive plate 5 with excellent electricity is positioned by a projection 6 of a lower case and a nail segment 8 and a cut raising segment 13 thereof is pused by a lower opposed electrode 9 fixed to a lower case as well as an erecting portion 5a is erected to hold a metal protecting plate 16 and an upper opposed electrode 17 elastically between an upper case. Therefore, the electrically contacted condition of three portions is satisfactorily held. |
