<p>PURPOSE:To attain the high desulfurizing ratio as well as the high lime stone reacting ratio by a method wherein, in a wet gas exhausting and desulfurizing treatment of exhaust gas, two slurry tanks are provided and a slurry is circulated while a stay time thereof within said tank is controlled. CONSTITUTION:To a bottom portion of a desulfurizing tower main body 3, are provided a tank 1 having a liquid surface contacted with exhaust gas 8 and a tank 2 not having a liquid surface contacted with the said exhaust gas 8. An exhaust gas 7 containing sulfur oxides such as a boiler exhaust gas or the like is introduced into a desulfurizing tower main body 13 and, herein, a lime stone slurry of which a pH is adjusted to about 5.5 supplied from a tank 2 is injected and, after contacted with exhaust gas in a tower bottom 5, is dropped to a tank 1, thereafter circulated to a tank 2. In this case, if an average stay time of the slurry is adjusted to 0.5-3.5min in a tank 1 and 1-5min in a tank 2, the effective and economical desulfurization is carried out in the high lime stone reacting ratio.</p> |
