PURPOSE:To make it possible to display the same still picture in a program repeatedly without any need to arrange the transmission order of still pictures by storing still pictures, needed for the program, in picture memories and by changing those stored pictures. CONSTITUTION:Still pictures used in one news program are sequentially reproduced by stillpicture generator 2 as many as (n) and then transferred to picture memories 11-17 via change-over switches 31-37. Then, the stored pictures are reproduced and displayed on picture monitors 21-27 on an operation panel. Additionally, an announcer picture-taken by face camera 1 appears on picture monitor 20. Pictures needed in the program, such as the news title, pictures graphs, and tables are displayed on picture monitor 3 by pushing the push buttons on the operation panel to put switches 41-47 into operation, and signals of them are outputted to terminal 4. Thus, programs can be arranged only by sequentially pushing push bottons, there is no arranged the order of still pictures, and no restrictions on the repeated use of still pictures is placed, so that the operation will remarkably be simplified. |
