<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to replace an electrode and a filter independently by a mechanism wherein, in an air purifying machine having a electric dust collecting means, a dust collecting and deodorizing element is constituted of an insulative case, a dust collecting electrode to be inserted therein in a freely detachable manner and a filter. CONSTITUTION:To a front surface of a main body case 1 divided into an upper case 1a and a lower case 1b, an air blow-in opening 3 having a grill 2 is formed and, to a trailing end of an upper surface thereof, an air blow-out opening 4 is formed and, within an air passage within a case 1, an ionizing portion A, a dust collecting and deodorizing portion B and an air blower portion C are successively arranged. In a dust collecting and deodorizing portion, a dust collecting electrode 21 inserted in a frame is housed in a freely detachable manner from an opening 20 of an upper case 1a. This electrode 21 is constituted from an expanded metal plate like dust collecting electrode 25 and an activated charcoal containing filter 29 arranged to a downstream side thereof and housed within a freely detachable case 24 by an elastic connection. Therefore, a dust collecting electrode and a deodorizing filter can be indivisually replaced and economical.</p> |
