PURPOSE:To reduce oil and dust contamination on the ventilation fan device without lowering ventilation efficiency by providing a conical, spiral waveform filter, having air holes, at the air intake of a ventilation fan device proper. CONSTITUTION:The ventilation stream which has flowed into a filter 6 collides with various parts of the filter 6, and then it flows from the air holes toward a impeller 3. Oil and dust contained in the ventilation stream are adsorbed and collected on the various parts of the filter 6 by the collision. At this time, since the cross section of the filter 6 is formed in N-shaped waveform, the area of contact with the ventilation stream is much larger than that of a flat plate filter. Since a waveform is adopted, the ventilation stream circulates along the waveform indentations as it flows from the circumferential side toward the center of the filter 6, and it is discharged from the air holes. Consequently, a large amount of oil and dust contained in the ventilation stream sticks to the depressions of the filter 6 effectively, so that oil and dust contents in the ventilation stream are reduced. |
