摘要 PURPOSE:To enable accurate measurement of ignition timing based on the topdead center attainable by setting a measuring reference after a specified turning angle from the top dead center, while measuring a time difference between this measuring reference and ignition signal generation timing, and subtracting the time difference between the top dead center and the measuring reference from the value. CONSTITUTION:This measuring device inputs a TDC signal built up at a top dead center (TDC), for example, an NE signal and an ignition signal generated at CA into a central processing unit 14, and displays the operated result on an indicator 15. Then, first of all, interrupt time Tn of the NE signal is stored at this central processing unit 14, and it calculates time T30 of the 30 deg.C CA from the last interrupt time TN-1 and this time Tn. Next, interrupt time Ts of the ignition signal is stored, while interrupt time Tp at the time of a count value '1' of the NE signal is stored in memory. Time in an interval of 30 deg. after ignition time - TDC is calculated by Tspk'=Tp-Ts, and an ignition timing advance value is calculated on the basis of the calculated result.
