PURPOSE:To prevent completely internal leak current as well as permit the air- tightness test of cell by the procedure in which a test on air tightness is carried out under the condition in which a thin portion is formed in a cover or an exhaust cover and no exhaust port is formed in cell, and then the thin portion is broken to form an exhaust port. CONSTITUTION:An air tightness test for between cells is carried out under the condition that the thin portion 5 is formed in the exhaust cover 2 or the cover 1 and the cell exhaust port 4 in not formed, and then the thin portion is broken to obtain the cell exhaust port 4. Thus. air tightness for between cells can be easily carried out because the portion where the cell exhaust port 4 ought to be formed is enclosed by the thin portion 5. |
