<p>The material is deposited onto loose or unconsolidated earth, and consists of at least one flexible and continuous thread or strip (8) distributed three-dimensionally but in a random manner in a heap of solid aggregate (1), where the thread (8) provides cohesion between particles (1). Particles (1) are pref. sand; gravel; stone chips or pebbles; natural stone or earth fragments; artificial granulates; concrete; or industrial or domestic waste; and pref. adhere to each other. Material (8) is pref. a synthetic or textile thread, fibrous strip, or metal wire or strip; and may constitute the only bonding material between particles (8); but a binder may also be used, pref. cement or pozzulana enriched with lime, or a synthetic resin.</p> |
