Self-locking security door for bank - has opening handle on inside only and has lock controlled by release logic

The door has an opening handle only on the side facing inwards towards the back interior and cooperating with an electrically or electronically operated lock. The handle is incorporated in a central transverse section (18) of the door between upper and lower glass panels (16,17) with the lock connected via a flexible cable (26) to conductors in the tubular section frame (2) for the door. The door is hinged at the top and bottom at points offset from its vertical plane. Two such doors are used in combination, each of which can only be opened when the other is closed, to prevent direct access. The doors incorporate actuators for an alarm.
