<p>The boiler comprises a closed vessel with insulated walls, inside which are a firebox with smoke tubes and an independent heat-exchanger through which the water to be heated flows. Part of the heat-exchanger is formed by finned tubes (14) arranged round the firebox (2). The fins can each have a part bent over at right angles and bearing against the firebox wall. The firebox charging door can form a double wall through which air flows from a top inlet to a bottom outlet, and from there under the grate (3), being heated in the process.</p> |
